Our Local School Committee plays an important role in supporting and challenging school leaders to ensure that every child receives the best possible education. The committee is made up of representatives from the school staff, parents and the local community, bringing a range of perspectives and experience. Members work closely with school leaders to monitor performance, help shape the strategic direction of the school, and ensure that decisions are made in the best interests of our pupils and wider school community. Through regular meetings and visits, the committee helps to promote high standards, accountability and continuous improvement across the school.
Our responsible body is Heath Academy Trust, which provides governance and strategic oversight across all schools within the Trust. The Trust's Board of Trustees has ultimate responsibility for the performance and effectiveness of the schools and works closely with local committees to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
