At our nursery, we are deeply committed to building strong partnerships with families. We believe that a collaborative approach between the nursery and home is key to your child’s success and well-being. Together, we celebrate their achievements and support their development every step of the way.
Tapestry
To keep you connected to your child's learning journey, we use Tapestry, our online learning journal. Tapestry allows us to share regular updates on your child’s progress, achievements, and milestones. With this easy-to-use platform, you can view photos, observations, and your child’s next steps. It's a wonderful way for you to celebrate your child's progress with us and see firsthand the exciting things they're learning.

We also believe in keeping families informed about the exciting things happening at nursery. That’s why we regularly update our Nursery X page (@stivesprimaryYN), where you can find snapshots of the fun and learning taking place every week. From special activities and events to everyday moments of exploration and growth, our social media page is a great way to stay connected to the nursery community and celebrate your child’s experiences.
Half Termly Newsletter
In addition to Tapestry and Nursery X, we also send out a half-termly curriculum newsletter to keep you informed about the learning that will be taking place during the upcoming half-term. This newsletter outlines the theme and activities we’ll be focusing on, giving you an overview of what your child will be exploring in the weeks ahead. The newsletter is a fantastic way to stay ahead of your child’s learning journey and support them in their explorations.
Celebration of Learning: A Special Half-Term EventAt the end of each half term, we invite families to join us for a Celebration of Learning. This special event provides an opportunity for families to come into the nursery, explore the learning environment, and actively engage in activities with their child.
